By William Thomas Posted on Sep 9, 2013January 17, 2018 Idiot’s Guides: Dog Training Square The fundamental skills can be used to help correct undesirable behavior. Photos are shot in real-life situations to add much-needed context. Games help reinforce skills. This book was shot in California with the generous help of all the students. Large photos of good dogs highlight the skills you’ll be learning. Skills are taught as cumulative fundamentals. Learning “sit” leads to learning “stay” which leads to more advanced skills. Ambient photography mixed with clear product photography helps reinforce key points. Showing what to avoid is often just as important as showing what to get. Lots of photography makes training easy to learn for both the owner and their dog. I served as designer. For more information, check out the book’s product page on Amazon.
