The website idiotsguides.com underwent a major change in 2014, taking it from an editorially curated site to a user-generated one. Site members could write quick guides on the topic of their choosing. They could earn badges, become topic gurus, and more. I served as art director, directing the look, feel, and interface of each user journey throughout the side. I also wrote and photographed a few quick guides myself, including the one in the featured image above.
Note: The site was shuttered December 2016 to reflect the company focus on print books.
